Winter term is considered part of either fall or spring semester. You may choose whichever semester best benefits you. For example, you can select which semester’s GPA you want the course to count toward (fall or spring) and you may be able to use financial aid to pay for it. If you are interested in financial aid, please contact us immediately.
NOTE: Students are permitted to register for a maximum of four credit hours during Winter Term.
Students assigned to a success coach or to the Student Success Team should contact their coach or email success@roanestate.edu to submit a request to take more than 4 credits during Winter Term.
Students assigned to a faculty advisor or to the Advising Resource Center need to contact their advisor or Dr. Cody Miller, Interim Dean of Student Academic Services, to submit a request to take more than 4 credits during Winter Term.
The registration PIN if following fall semester will be the same PIN as fall.
The registration PIN if following spring semester will only be available from your Success Coach or Academic Advisor.
Please complete a Roane State application as a transient student. It is important to get started right away as there may be several documents needed. Verify with your home institution the transferability of the course you plan to take at Roane State. Visit our Transfer Partners webpage for course equivalency tables.
Check with your advisor and select courses that apply to your program.
