Roane State offers a comprehensive program of financial aid assistance in the form of scholarships, work-study, grants, and loans. Major emphasis is placed upon financial need, academic achievement, and promise of future success.
Federal financial aid such as Federal Pell grants is only applied to courses that are in your major. For example, if you take four classes, but only three are in your major, then your federal financial aid will be based on the three classes in your major.
