June 9, 2026

Roane State and TCAT Harriman are sponsoring a Homeschool Information Session for prospective students and their families this summer at Roane State's main campus in Harriman.

The event will be held August 4, 2026, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. ET inside the Vann Student Center (Dunbar Building). Presentations and informational tables will be set up in the student lounge and the Raider Room.

Students will be able to learn about opportunities at RSCC and TCAT related to various academic pathways, dual enrollment, institutional financial aid, and student services. Representatives from the Tennessee Higher Education Commission (THEC) and TN Achieves will also be on site to answer questions about state financial aid and the TN Promise scholarship.

Pre-registration is not required, but students are encouraged to RSVP for event planning purposes. The registration form is available online. Students will just need to provide their name and email to sign up.

Roane State's Roane County Campus is located at 276 Patton Lane in Harriman. For more information on this event, contact Natasha Crabtree, assistant director of recruitment for Roane State, by emailing crabtreenk@roanestate.edu.
