A study of the properties, preparations, reactions, and spectroscopy of aliphatic and aromatic compounds, including reaction mechanisms and the relationship between structure and reactivity. 3 hours lecture, 3 hours laboratory (Prerequisite: CHEM 1120) Each student is assessed a lab fee for this course.
